Autumnal Gloom (happy face)

The new Vlks EP is called “Vlks XIV”. Recorded with Jim Riley and Brendan Esmonde at Ranscombe Studios in Rochester, it is big, scary, gloomy and entertainingly melodramatic, containing several enormous sections of horror strings, cavernous reverb and on at least one song, the sound of a barrel full of gravel being scraped to within an inch of its life (you can make your own witty analogies). It is everything you came to expect from your favourite indie gloomsters and it is all the more brilliant for it. It will be available for streaming and buying very soon.

Running order:

  1. Dogs
  2. Make A Face
  3. Alligators
  4. MooooooooooooooN
  5. To The Amusements
